For referring doctors

Share study information with your own patients

When a study is looking for participants, we can provide materials for you to share with your own patients if you choose. Patients decide for themselves whether to contact the study site. Taking part may or may not benefit an individual patient.

How it works

Three simple steps

1. You tell your own patients

When a study opens near you, we can send materials for you to share with your own patients. Study-specific recruitment materials are shared only after the required IRB and sponsor approvals.

2. The patient chooses

The patient decides whether to contact the study site, and can contact the site directly. You never have to enroll or screen anyone.

3. The study team takes over

The study team handles screening, eligibility and informed consent. You remain the patient's doctor, and participation is the patient's choice.

Keeping it clean

Our ground rules

No payment per patient

We never pay a fee for each patient referred or enrolled.

Administrative work is reviewed separately

Sharing materials is not paid. If your team is ever asked to do actual administrative work, any payment would need separate legal review, a written defined scope and a reasonable valuation, and is never for referrals.

No patient lists

Please do not send us patient lists or identifiable patient details, in this form or elsewhere. Patients contact the study site only if they choose.

Practices can take part as research sites

If you would like to conduct studies yourself, not just refer patients, tell us about your practice.
